Consignment/Trade-in
Consideration will be made for all consignment and trade-in requests. In general, our trade-in policy considers item per item trades but certain exceptions for multiple item trades have been considered in the past.
When in doubt, ask. Consignment items are always welcome but one must be realistic of it's value in the market place, especially if repairs are necessary.
Consignment terms will be negotiable if you plan to use the sales proceeds in store.
For cash back, our consignment fee ranges from 25% to 50% and depends primarily on how much work we have to do and the value of the item.
Factors that affect the rate of consignment fee include evaluation and detailing, shipping charges (if applicable), advertising and sales fees, packaging costs (if necessary) and most significantly, the value of the item. Higher value items will, in general, have lower consignment rates.
